Vail, Beaver Creek’s single-day, window lift ticket price breaks $200
The 200 barrier for a walk-up ski lift ticket has been broken up for the first time by Vail Mountain and Beaver Creek this year, according to industry sources.
Vail and Beaver Creek are charging $209 daily for a walk-up window ticket, in accordance with their site. The cost is reduced to $199 if bought online.
Aspen Skiing Co. is charging $179 for a walk-up window cost. If a skier or snowboarder comes with an present card the ticket could be added into, there’s not any excess charge. If a new card is necessary, this ’another $5. Skico’s cost applies at Aspen Mountain, Aspen Highlands, Snowmass and Buttermilk.
If asked for comment on the pricing this year, Vail Resorts released a statement that began: “We reward guests for their loyalty and for committing to a winter vacation together well ahead of time through programs such as our season passes, progress lift ticket buy, and lodging specials. Much like purchasing an airline ticket, most guests buy EpicDay Lift Tickets in advance, which supplies them with the very best available speed. ”
