Skrillex and Wolfgang Gartner’s “Devil’s Den” Reimagined by Up-and-Comer LICK

Skrillex and Wolfgang Gartner’s “Devil’s Den” Reimagined by Up-and-Comer LICK

LICK chose”Devil’s Den” at an entirely different direction.

A 2011 cooperation between Skrillex and Wolfgang Gartner’s has obtained an unexpected remix in the little-known artist. LICK has given a dissonant downtempo edition of”Devil’s Den” much removed from the positive sound of the first mix.

Even the complextro musings of this source material scarcely pierce the darkened veil of LICK’s foreboding”Devil’s Den” remix. Somewhat Boys Noize-reminiscent seem layout follows a slowed-down conquer structure to yield a lot darker iteration of what Skrillex and Gartner delivered eight years back.

The LICK project may be a newcomer to the EDM area, but his relationships paint a promising picture of his potential. After debuting last year with a remix of this Stranger Things theme song, he’s accompanied many remixes with the two-track REVOLT EP which came out on Zeds Dead’s Deadbeats imprint.

LICK has yet to publicly disclose his identity at the time of composing.
