To all you- what is?
Ruben: It’s difficult to say. It’s almost like choosing your child for a parent. If I had to pick, I’d state “Nevada. ” It turned out to be a complicated track for individuals to combine directly, but a very rewarding and fun experience. I love playing with it out and get a fuzzy sense.
Victor: Our “Sparks” remix was the very first tune of ours . That was a huge moment for all of us in our career, and I remember it quite fondly – it’s special track for us that reason.
I always read that you have a state of the art space in Nashville which you made your EP
Elements in, and within this space have your own studio. Can you tell us a bit more about your process- and the way you work?
We now have two studios on different floors that are linked with a server that is fast. We can sync all samples, our endeavors, and even presets. The great thing is that we’re a short walk from each other, thus we work collectively in the same studio a whole great deal, but nevertheless have the opportunity to work on various tracks in the same moment. After a track has been fully arranged, and we have all the sounds picked out as well, we typically start that the mixdown process, which is frequently easier done solo as it’s even much more technical than imaginative. The fact that we’re able to work at a studio plus 10 seconds later work in 2 studios speeds up our workflow a whole great deal.
The EP you released was Aurora in 2016. What can fans expect from your new EP Elements? How has your music evolved?
We love the way the Aurora EP proven out, however we feel that this EP is stronger and catchier compared to Aurora. We believe each year, our sound is improving although it & rsquo; so hard to put into words how we’ve evolved – this is. The goal of Elements is always to flaunt facets of the Vicetone noise, while keeping the melodic and energetic core exactly the same. There ought to be a track for just about every kind of Vicetone enthusiast out there with this project. We’re eager to hear the feedback.
When you started producing collectively, did you ever imagine you’d have ended up here?
It felt like a pipe dream, although we always dreamt of performing songs fulltime of the lifestyle and dreamed. Gradually realizing that this really happened for us was arousing. We really feel this is exactly what we now &rsquore so blessed to have this job.
What is festival that is favorite and your club ?
Very difficult to choose. We’d state New City Gas is your music place as far as indoors goes. It’s an remarkable place, and it has crowds. Montreal is so special for all of us! As for festivals, it’s hard to pick a favorite. They’re all great and distinctive in their different
ways. We enjoyed playing Ultra, Tomorrowland, Escapade, Electric Love, Amsterdam Music Festival, the list Continues!
Given you have made a career out of producing songs would you ever actually go to clubs/raves yourselves anymore? When is the last time you went to enjoy the music for not a celebrity and a spectator?
We got to experience traveling out to raves during our early years. We used to stay before the early hours of the morning at raves and take a train ride back home. We get a whole great deal more enjoyment out of playing with our own livesets these days. Nothing beats the feeling for us. So we don’t move to raves in exactly the same manner as we all used to, however, we were before we started producing our own songs on raves, really big.
Which are your hobbies outside of music?
We love all things technologies. We love video games as well – we have a gaming rig that is sweet and all modern consoles . Interesting fact: we hand-build all our computers, including our studio computers, that can be overkill, however, it makes it possible for us to conduct the projects in Ableton without any lag. And lately we’ve brushed up our skills s nice break from being in the studio all day.
Worst thing about this career? Very best thing?
Very best thing getting compensated for it and is currently doing exactly what you love the most. Our work is the hobby – that it doesn’t get any better than that. Our least favourite thing is most likely not seeing our family members and friends as frequently as we all ’d like.
What type of a Saturday night is this mix getting our listeners for?
Whatever they want. Our mixture will make you energized if you would like to go out. If you would like to stay in and watch Netflix documentaries this mixture can assist you.
