Following a enormous collaboration with Netsky at December, 1991 returns with a first of their own, “Guiding Light. ” The London producer asserts his lively style of drum & bass in this emotive number. “Guiding Light” contains an impeccable balance of vocals and instrumentals, together with all the lyrics guiding the verses and the beats driving the chorus. Even though 1991 was relatively silent in 2018, one can only expect this early-2019 release will be the first of several this season. He’s off to a Fantastic start.

It takes a special touch to modernize and create a 23-year-old song for now ’s dance music scene. Oliver Nelson and Tobtok are up to this task, however, since they attract Judge Jules & John Kelly’s Stix ‘N’ Stoned 1996 club anthem “Outrageous” to 2019. This sizzling home heater is prepared for dance flooring of any decade with its groovy beat and thumping bass. The producers ramp up the power in the first half, so dipping the pace in the middle for a brief intermission, before creating momentum up again to finish their “Outrageous” rendition off.

After being propelled in the EDM limelight via two REZZ collaborations, 13 is getting what is an extremely lengthy solo moment with a daunting original of his own. “Uppercut,” out via Mad Decent, reveals the artist flexing his glitched-out production skills in complete form. It’s a shadowy release straight from the start, introducing filtered vocals that lead up to a bass-heavy fall, beating listeners’ ears with all the distorted sounds 13’s become known for.

The two parts of The M Machine have assembled captivating solo jobs. Luttrell‘s created a name for himself with a unique strand of melodic Temple, gaining notoriety by means of many different Anjunadeep releases over the last few decades. His most recent release is a six-plus-minute venture to the depths of Tycho‘so called “Epoch,” which originated from their assembly at Burning Man. “It was an honour to share the stage with him that night and much more of an honour to be asked to remix his great monitor, ‘Epoch,’” Luttrell stated of this remix. “When I play this one out in shows lately, I regularly feel pumped back to the playa – feeling the heat of the sunrise across the Black Rock Desert. ”

Draper was producing music since late 2010, changing his sound from dubstep to house to drum & bass to glitch hop and everything in between through recent years. He’s shown incredible flexibility throughout his career, placing his Draper postage on whatever he’s making with ease. His newest, an EP called Pâro, kicks off with a serene soundscape branded “Her. ” Its intro is just amazing, painting a vivid image of two people in love. Even though the choruses are lighthearted and full of electricity, it’s the spaces in between that really make this track breathtaking.
