These Colorado businesses are offering Black Friday deals, and there’s not a TV or video game console in the bunch
Around Colorado, millions of companies will be offering deals and special promotions beginning this Friday within their Black Friday-Cyber Monday weekend that serves as the unofficial kickoff of the holiday buying season. Maybe not all of them hail from the standard corners of this retail sector.
Hotels, spas, recreational marijuana stores, are getting in on the act this season. The prices range from half-off chambers to discounted festival tickets into champagne and caviar.
The Origin Red Rocks in Golden is among the resorts that have announced special offers available for purchase this weekend. In a promotion starting Friday and end Monday, individuals who book a two-night stay at the Origin through March 31 can get a $40 coupon for your resort ’s restaurant and bar, Nomad Taqueria + Beer Garden. The 124-room resort opened in August. It’s the official hotel partner of Red Rocks Amphitheater. But concert year is over and direction is looking for methods to showcase everything Origin has to offer beyond proximity to an iconic music site.

Debbie Billings is staying at the Origin Red Rocks this week as part of a visit to Go to a friend in Fort Collins for Thanksgiving. The Cincinnati resident didn’t book her room as part of a Black Friday advertising, but she believes the resort is on to something.
“I believe it’s absolutely amazing,” she said. “I believe more resorts should do it. Why wouldn’t you? Especially in the lower time of the season after you’re trying to fill it up. ”
Even the Renaissance Denver Downtown City Center Hotel is just currently now taking a different approach to vacation promotions. It’s providing a “Cyber Holiday Shopping” bundle. Beginning at $289 per night to get a two-person area, guests that stay between Sunday and Jan. 1 (pending availability) can get free valet parking, free in-room breakfast and Bloody Mary or mimosa bar and a $100 Amazon gift card. Much Colorado’s newest boom market is getting in on the act. The Green Solution, a series of 16 recreational marijuana dispensaries, is offering a variety of in-person and online specials this weekend. On Black Friday, all shoppers who buy something at Green Solution locations can purchase a key lime truffle (created using hash oil) to get a penny. All of Green Solution locations will be open limited hours on Thanksgiving.
