Show You Should Know – Kasbo is Back for Headlining Show After ODESZA Opening
If you had the opportunity to go to the ODESZA Red Rocks series on Saturday, June 15, then you probably heard the Swedish manufacturer Carl Garsb, also known as Kasbo. Kasbo opened the iconic series and if you missed it, then you’ve got another opportunity to experience artwork and the magical of his songs. Famous for his remixes to songs including “The Little Things” by Big Gigantic, “Indian Summer” by Jai Wolf and most lately, “Happier” by Ed Sheeran, Kasbo creates euphoric harmonies that permit anybody listening to go and be removed. While his show at The Ogden on Sunday, November 25 won’t compare to the volume of the of a Red Rocks series that the night will send nothing short of sweet bliss and irreparable escape.
Kasbo’s debut album, Places We Don’t Know, premiered in March via the record tag, Foreign Family Collective. The duo supporting FFC? — Harrison Mills and Clayton Knight, also known as, ODESZA. Kasbo is among the many artists under the record label — others including Big Wild, Chet Porter, Loius Futon along with Jai Wolf — and with a talent such as ODESZA supporting a solo artist, one can only expect that artist to become beyond superior — also Kasbo does not disappoint. With over 40 million streams, the album landed a number one place on the iTunes Electronic Chart on launch, with a takeover of all Spotify’s “Mint” playlist, the DJ and producer proves his worth.
Kasbo is on his “Places We Don’t Know: Part 2 Tour” with openers Vancouver Sleep Clinic and fellow, FFC artist, ford. Based on previous shows, Kasbo will deliver a performance which will transport attendees or maybe back into Red Rocks on that hot summer night in June. Kasbo employs a including guitar and drums — plus he attributes new music, showcases new visuals and boasts a production.
We may have seen Kasbo once earlier, but what we witnessed was beautiful. Kasbo doesn play his songs, he believes it. He doesn’t listen to his melodies, he sees them — visually and emotionally. His performance jolting and is both awe-inspiring with energy and vibrancy. Expect to hear songs such as “Lay it On Me,” “Aldrig Mer,” his rework of “The Little Things” by Big Gigantic and more. In the event you missed the ODESZA shows back in June, Kasbo is giving you a opportunity. Don’t mess this up.
