Fortnite scores NFL partnership with deal for virtual jerseys
Fortnite players will soon be able to purchase virtual jerseys based on their beloved National Football League teams at a limited-time venture with all the movie game’s maker.
Starting on Nov. 9, lovers can purchase digital NFL club outfits together with the amount of their choice from Fortnite’s online shop. The jerseys, which characters can wear as they square off with competitors, will cost approximately $15 value of in-game money. They can also be obtained through purchase of a season pass into the match.

The deal represents the first time that Fortnite’s creator, carefully held Epic Games Inc., has struck a deal to place out articles in the game. The every-man-for-himself shooting title has been a runaway hit, garnering over 125 million players worldwide — a fan base that includes many athletes.
Besides the jerseys, other product — such as football-themed dances — will also be accessible. Since Fortnite is absolutely free to playwith, Epic has had to look for decorative items to sell. Other game makers, such as Activision Blizzard Inc. and Zynga Inc., are selling advertising places in their free titles.
Last month, Epic increased $1.25 billion in an investor group that comprised KKR & Co., Vulcan Capital and Kleiner Perkins.
