Kick off it by embracing style by visiting the Dior: From Paris to the World exhibition at the Denver Art Museum and finish it by seeing some local art at the River North Music & Arts Showcase. The Lowdown: Denver Museum of Nature & Science presents a Cuba Exhibit. The exhibit takes a dive to the culture, history and nature of Cuba. It’s possible to experience unique sections of the exhibit that are focused on road life, art and more and have the opportunity to talk with four local Cuban Americans to find out more about their Cuban experience.

The Lowdown: Spectra Art Space teams up with Chelsea Smith to sponsor Astrology Level 1. The event includes a course that teaches the fundamentals of astrology. The ticket cost provides a simple understanding of astrology and a degree one workbook created by Chelsea Smith. Be certain you bring a three-ring binder and a pen to work with.

Mothership Tuesdays

The Lowdown: Downtown Denver Partnership teams up with Downtown Denver Rink at Skyline Park to host an Opening Day Celebration. The event comes with a morning of skating with leases, performances in the Denver Figure Skating Club and more winter fun.

A Christmas Carol

The Lowdown: Spectra Art Space hosts an Alcohol Ink Techniques course. The course includes a chance to work together with the guidance of Tiffany in Spectra. The ticket cost includes an eight-inch by ten-inch paper, an 11 by 14 inch piece of Yupo paper and snacks to nibble on as you paint.

South Broadway Ghost Society

The Lowdown: Temple presents the 5th Annual All Black Attire Party. The party comes with a night of party taking one to the property of Italy. You can beats out of Safaree and explore the night in lavish darkness. Be certain you wear all black apparel to match the theme of the night.

The Lowdown: Witness your fitness center at the Gravy Boat 5k. The event comes with a 5k run around the scenic Sloan’s Lake Park. It’s possible to develop an appetite and a perspiration throughout the run and later pour that gravy all over your sausage.

45th Annual Mile High United Way Turkey Trot

The Lowdown: Get in the holiday spirit with Holidays on Larimer Square. The event begins on Black Friday together with all the light of the square featuring live music, a Yuletide Window Walk and more. Through the end of November and leading up to Christmas it is possible to explore the square and all its charming holiday wonders.

The Lowdown: Boettcher Concert Hall presents a Movie at the Symphony. The event features a screening of the classic holiday movie, Home Alone. The movie follows the mad experiences of Kevin McCallister because he gets left behind by his family. Even the Colorado Symphony will conduct the movie’s scores created by composer John Williams.

Black Sheep Friday

The Lowdown: Twist & Shout Records hosts Black Friday. The event includes a launch of a limited quantity of documents. All the items are offered for purchase in-store through November 25 as phone and web orders will restart on Monday, November 26. You can only buy one copy per item and each one the items available are first come, first served.

The Grand Illumination of Union Station

The Lowdown: Ellie Caulkins Opera House and The Colorado Ballet presents The Nutcracker.  Follow the bewitching tale of Clara’s journey to a fantasy land of the Sugar Candy Kingdom. The pieces in the exhibition intention to force you to look through a dystopian perspective at plastic, creating an uncomfortable atmosphere.
