One Mix, Beats 1’s weekly tv show, hosts LA-based Canadian duo Loud Luxury this weekend. Self-dubbed “deep home using a shot of tequila,” Loud Luxury’s noise is characterized by heavy bass lines, glowing vocals, and pop-inspired melodies. It is no wonder, since they mention Disclosure and Calvin Harris because inspirations.
Expect a feelgood a mix with songs by Martin Garrix, DVBBS, Kaskade, CID, Fisher, exclusive mashups, and hit originals like “Body” and “Love No More. ”

Andrew Fedyk and Joe Depace (the producers behind Loud Luxury) fulfilled back in school in London, Ontario via an on-campus club devoted to music production. Initially, Fedyk was largely producing hip-hop with no true interest in electronic music. That changed when Depace took him into some Porter Robinson show, immediately spurring his passion for music.
The duo cut their teeth playing frat parties and bar mitzvahs, working on their productions till they felt sure enough to upload them into SoundCloud. Considering that the stage ’s enthusiastic and wealthier community in that time, they have lucky networking with artists and garnered considerable reposts and shares when they finally posted their tunes.
Loud Luxury’s remixes of Dzeko & Torres’ “Home” and Justin Timberlake’s “Can’t Stop The Feeling” put them onto the map. Soon afterwards they gained support from heavy-hitters like Tiësto, Oliver Heldens, and Martin Garrix, moving on to launch songs on Tiësto’s AFTR:HRS tag and remix Garrix’s “Scared To Be Lonely” using enormous success.
The duo has a string of well-received singles under their belt also. “Body,” their club pop track that took a year and a half to create, garnered over five million flows on SoundCloud and won tune of the summer in the iHeartRadio Much Music Video Awards. Their most recent single, “Love No More” follows up the “Body” noise using a similar accent on pop-savvy vocals, bright toplines, and bass lines that are buzzing.

Loud Luxury: The very first festival we playedwe brought all of our parents outside. They danced the whole time.
