Bob Weir & Wolf Bros Welcome Bagpiper Jori Chisholm In Seattle

The Famous Bob Weir and Wolf Bros tour moved to Seattle on Tuesday night for a performance at the Moore Theatre. Bob Weir, drummer Jay Lane and bassist Don Was were united by Seattle’s Jori Chisholm for portions of both sets in the Emerald City.

The trio started the evening with “Scarlet Begonias” and then brought out Chisholm. Jori last contributed to a Weir performance return on February 17, 2007 at precisely the exact same place as part of a RatDog series. Bagpipes added an intriguing element to Bob’s Blue Mountain stone “Lay My Lily Down. ” Next came covers of Kris Kristofferson’s “Me & Bobby McGee” and Willie Dixon’s “Little Red Rooster” ahead of the largest setlist shock of the evening. Bob Weir & Wolf Bros dusted off “Josephine,” a song Weir wrote due to his Bobby & The Midnites studio album and side undertaking. Bob Weir & Wolf Bros capped the frame with “When I Paint My Masterpiece” by Bob Dylan and the loved pairing of “Lost Sailor” and “Saint Of Circumstance. ” Last night’s second group was heavy about Grateful Dead classics for example “Jack Straw,” “Bertha,” “Bird Song” and “Throwing Stones. ” The closing stanza also included “Gonesville” away Blue Mountain, an uncommon audible as Weir went with “Corrina” instead of “Deal” and yet another cherished pairing in the form of “China Cat Rider” > “I Know You Rider. ” Chisholm returned to lend his talents into the “Wharf Rat” jam. Tuesday’s concert came to a close with a “Brokedown Palace” encore. The excursion continues tonight in Missoula.
